Massimo Blanco is Assistant Professor of French Literature at Sapienza University of Rome. His research interests go from 19th and 20th century poetry (Mallarmé, Valéry) up to 19th century novel (Balzac) and Baroque theatre. The intermedial sources of literature (relationships between poetry and the visual arts) as well as the philosophical roots of literature are the heart of his investigation.
